Reckless Reviews:
V for Vendetta

LOUIS: I loved “V for Vendetta” because every aspect of it was just right. It had a very strong setting and strong characters to go along with it. It was dystopian* society and 'superhero' at its best.

BRANDON: A great escape movie. Perfect for a Friday or Saturday night and it's worthy of any home theatre. Plus, Natalie Portman & Hugo Weaving sport their acting chops. I really like Portman as an actress . . . so long as George Lucas isn't directing her!

DONNA: While this is far from a perfect movie, it had several scenes I found moving, the cinematography was lovely, and I really like Natalie Portman — she is always believable in her roles, even in bad movies (yes, I mean the recently released Star Wars movies).

ZOE: I was so totally not in the mood for this movie when I saw it. I think that it is an important movie that was beautifully shot and was perfectly released for the political climate.

KAELEN: I liked this movie because it was intelligent, intriguing, beautiful, and intellectually stimulating. Besides this, the acting was excellent and I enjoyed the story line because it kept me guessing.
