Renny Harlin's (Cleaner, Mindhunters) 12 Rounds is the first of a pair of wild action movies are out this week, starring John Cena (The Marine, WWE) as a cop who gets in the way of a ruthless terrorist (Aiden Gillen: Shanghai Knights, Buddy Boy). The terrorist's revenge: he kidnaps the
cop's wife (Ashley Scott: Strange Wilderness, Just Friends) and makes him play a game, Die Hard with a Vengence-style. If Cena is still standing after 12 challenges, his wife can go free... if a bloodthirsty terrorist can be trusted to play by his own rules.
Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li stars Kristin Kreuk (Smallville, Earthsea) as the classic videogame character, hunting for the evil crimelord known as Bison (Neil McDonough: Traitor, I Know Who Killed Me). With a reformed former member of Bison's mafia as her mentor (Robin Shou: 18 Fingers of Death, Mortal Kombat), and two cops also on the supervillian's trail (Chris Klein: Hank and Mike, American Dreamz and Moon Bloodgood: Pathfinder, What Just Happened), she has to fight her way through Bison's minions, including Vega and Balrog (Michael Clarke Duncan: Talladega Nights, The Green Mile).
The satirical OSS 117: Cairo, Nest of Spies is a French film, setting a comedic version of the James Bond superspy world in Cairo. Designed like a 1960s spy adventure, Hubert Bonisseur de La Bath (codename: OSS 117) must navigate Russian agents, English agents, Egyptians, and even Nazis as he tries to solve the mystery of disappearing OSS agents.

The directorial debut of Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst, The Education of Charlie Banks stars Jesse Eisenberg (The Squid and the Whale, The Village) as a privileged prep school student who runs into a bully (Jason Ritter: W., Freddy vs. Jason) from his high school past. The bully quickly charms Charlie's friends and the girl in his life (Eva Amurri: Saved!, The Life Before Her Eyes), but the secrets between the two boys could upset their comfortable, privileged world.
